Suspects sought after 3 men shot in Merced

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The search is on for three suspects following a triple shooting in Merced on Saturday night.

Merced police responded to a report of several shots fired near Home Avenue and R Street around 10 p.m. When they arrived at the garage of a home, officers found three men who had been shot.

All three victims were transported to a Modesto hospital. One of them was last listed in critical condition and the two others were in stable condition.

Police say their investigation has revealed that the three men were standing in a driveway when they were ambushed by three suspects and then shot. Investigators believe this was a gang-related shooting. No suspect descriptions have been released.
