Teen killed in Southwest Fresno shooting identified

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Action News has learned more about the teenager gunned down in Southwest Fresno. He's identified as Mareek Phillips of Fresno and had just turned 15 last Sunday.

Phillips was shot at about 10:00 Tuesday night in the area of Lorena and Weller, near King Elementary School.

Phillips was shot several times.

Police are still gathering clues on a possible motive and are looking for a black car with black rims seen leaving the area.
