Teenager arrested in deadly Los Banos shooting

LOS BANOS, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police have arrested a teenager for the shooting death of another teen at a park in Los Banos.

Police detectives arrested a 16-year-old boy in connection with the Dec. 7 shooting at San Luis Street and Ward Road. Witnesses say 17-year-old Raymond Sevilla from Dos Palos collapsed across the street from the park while he was trying to run away from the shooter.

Investigators say the suspect and victim belonged to rival criminal street gangs, and the motive for the killing is attributed to gang violence.
