Fresno Attorney Tony Capozzi Facing Sheriff's Investigation

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Fresno County Sheriff's Office confirms it is investigating prominent Fresno attorney Tony Capozzi.

The Sheriff's Office would not provide further details of the investigation.

Capozzi has served as a legal and political analyst for ABC30. He is also the current chair of the California Commission on Judicial Performance, which investigates complaints of misconduct by state judges.

In a statement provided by Faller Law Firm they said, "It is unfortunate that the Sheriff's Office elected to make this public pronouncement before contacting Mr. Capozzi, or investigating, reviewing, and evaluating all of the facts concerning the allegations, which are, at this point, still unknown."
