Tulare County judge accused of ethics violations

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Tulare County Superior Court judge is finding himself on the other side of the bench.

Judge Valeriano Saucedo is being accused of sending a court clerk an anonymous letter, accusing her of having an affair, and giving her gifts in violation of judicial ethics. The commission on judicial performance says it will hold formal proceedings on the allegations before they decide if the charges are true.

If the allegations are proven, Saucedo's punishment could result in removing him from office.
