Body found near overpass at Highway 99 in Atwater

ATWATER, Calif. (KFSN) -- A body was found on Monday near the Applegate overpass on Highway 99 in Atwater.

Officers do not believe a vehicle hit the man.

An investigation is now underway into the cause of death.
