After years of drought, boat racing event comes back to Huntington Lake
The annual High Sierra Regatta at Huntington Lake is making a comeback after years of canceled events.

FRESNO, Calif. -- The annual High Sierra Regatta at Huntington Lake is making a comeback after years of canceled events.

In recent years, the drought and low water conditions on the lake hasn't allowed for boat racing. This year there was enough snowfall in the Sierra to make it happen.

Several sailboats were out on the water along with plenty of fans out on the shore to watch.

There are five races spread out over the weekend. The event is put on by the Fresno Yacht Club.
