Curtis Granderson welcomed in grand fashion in Dodgers debut

Things happened fast for Curtis Granderson when news officially broke that he would be a Los Angeles Dodger.

From beginning to end, Granderson was welcomed with open arms by his new city. Upon arrival, he received multiple handshakes and hellos as he brought in his New York Mets travel bag to unload into his new locker.

Next it was on to the diamond, where the new Dodgers star had a message for the city of L.A.

Game time for Granderson wasn't anything over the top, but his tweet afterward also endeared him to fans.

Warm welcome upon arrival? Check. Excited message to fans? Check. Honoring Jackie Robinson as a Dodger? Check, check and check.

Well, I suppose it's only appropriate for Granderson to be greeted in grand fashion.
