LOS ANGELES -- LA Clippers center DeAndre Jordan will not play Monday night against the Houston Rockets and is likely to miss at least one more game due to his sprained left ankle, coach Doc Rivers said.

"My guess, just watching him move around, I can't imagine him playing for a couple of days," Rivers said. "I would be surprised [if Jordan plays] Wednesday."

The Clippers play the Denver Nuggets at home Wednesday. Their next game is Saturday at Utah.

Jordan, who was injured on an alley-oop dunk in Thursday's win over the Sacramento Kings, had never missed a game due to injury in his 10-year career before sitting out Saturday's road win over the Kings.

Jordan, who will tie Randy Smith's franchise record for games played with 715 in his next appearance, is averaging 11.8 points and 14.9 rebounds for the injury-ravaged Clippers.
