CINCINNATI -- The Los Angeles Dodgers have recalled outfielder Andrew Toles from Triple-A Oklahoma City and optioned infielder Chris Taylor to Oklahoma City.
The moves were made Sunday before Los Angeles' game in Cincinnati.
Toles is in his second big league stint this season and is hitting .316 (12-for-38) with an RBI and a stolen base in 16 games with Los Angeles. The 24-year-old made his major league debut on July 8. He has hit safely in his last five games for Oklahoma City and has combined to hit .331 with seven homers and 38 RBI in 82 minor league games this year with Oklahoma City, Double-A Tulsa and Single-A Rancho Cucamonga.
The 25-year-old Taylor batted .218 with a homer and seven RBI in 29 games with the Dodgers after being acquired by Los Angeles on June 19 from the Seattle Mariners.
