Four minor leaguers suspended for performance-enhancing drugs

NEW YORK -- Four minor league players have been suspended after testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs.

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder David Harris and Seattle Mariners right-hander Jose Luis Santiago were each penalized 76 games. They were both playing at Single-A levels.

Los Angeles Dodgers righty Sebastian Martinez and Colorado Rockies righty Jose Rodriguez were each banned for 72 games. They were on the rosters of teams in the Dominican Summer League.

The suspensions were announced Friday by the commissioner's office.

Forty-eight players have been suspended this year under the minor league program.
