Los Angeles Angels second baseman Ian Kinsler told ESPN's Mark Schwarz that he will be activated from the 10-day disabled list for Tuesday's game against the Texas Rangers.

Kinsler was placed on the DL on March 31 with a strained groin.

The 35-year-old was slowed by the injury near the end of spring training and played in only one game this season before landing on the DL.

Zack Cozart, originally slated as the Angels' starting third baseman this season, has seen the bulk of the playing time at second base during Kinsler's absence.
