Matthew Dellavedova (dehydration) to leave hospital Wednesday

CLEVELAND -- CavaliersguardMatthew Dellavedovawill be discharged from the Cleveland Clinic later Wednesday after being treated for dehydration following Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Tuesday night, according to league sources.

Sources told ESPN.com that Dellavedova is scheduled to meet the media later Wednesday after spending the night at the hospital.The Cavaliers said they would provide an update "shortly before" an afternoon practice at the arena.

Dellavedova was "physically exhausted" and dehydrated after logging 39 minutes in Cleveland's 96-91 victoryagainst theGolden State Warriors, but the source said he's doing "much better" after receiving overnight care.

He experienced "severe cramping," per the Cavs, required an IV and walked under his own power to the parking garage at Quicken Loans Arena, where he was placed on a stretcher and taken by ambulance to the Cleveland Clinic, where he was admitted.

Iman Shumpertwas scheduled to undergo imaging tests Wednesday after suffering a left shoulder contusion in the first quarter. He was injured while running into a screen set by Warriors forward Draymond Green.

"I think it's just bruised," Shumpert said after finishing with three points, three rebounds and three steals in 32 minutes. "Bruised, sprained, something. ... I'll be all right."

Shumpert dislocated the same shoulder Dec. 12 while playing for the New York Knicks. The injury kept him out of the lineup until Jan. 23.

Cleveland entered Game 3 already missing Kyrie Irving (fractured kneecap), Kevin Love (dislocated shoulder) and Anderson Varejao (torn Achilles tendon), who all required season-ending surgeries.

The Cavs now lead the Finals 2-1. Game 4 is Thursday in Cleveland.
