Free-agent forward Mike Scott has agreed to a one-year deal with the LA Clippers, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Scott played last season with the Washington Wizards, averaging 8.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 76 games. He averaged 18.5 minutes off the bench, matching a career high, and shot a career-best 52.7 percent from the field and 40.5 percent from 3-point range.
A second-round pick out ofVirginiain 2012, the 6-foot-8 Scott played 281 games in 4 seasons with the Atlanta Hawks before being traded to the Phoenix Suns, who waived him.
