Pentagon spent $22-million on UFO research, report says

The U.S. Government has tossed a lot of coins at finding unidentified flying objects.

A report by the New York Times shows the Pentagon spent 22-million dollars researching the possible existence of UFO's

The Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program secretly started in 2007, pushed by former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

The Nevada Democrat has had an interest in UFo's, ever since early astronaut John Glenn told him the government should be seriously researching it.

Pentagon officials say the program shut down in 2012, but its former head is still working on the mission.

He quit the Pentagon in October and went to work at a private UFO research company, co-founded by Blink 182's Tom Delonge.
