FRESNO, California -- An overnight crash on southbound Interstate 5 backed up traffic for miles on Tuesday.
A semi rolled over just north of the Highway 33 connector in Coalinga around 3 a.m. Tuesday. That accident also caused a second crash with another car running into the crashed semi.
No one was seriously hurt, but more than eight hours later crews are still on scene cleaning up the accident. As of late Tuesday morning, traffic was backed up for six miles and is still being diverted off at Derrick Avenue.
They hope to have the road back open in about an hour by noon on Tuesday.
