Firefighters battle two California wildfires

FRESNO, Calif.

One of the fires, the Pozo Fire, broke out Saturday afternoon in the Los Padres National Forest in Northern San Luis Obispo County.

Fire officials now say firefighters with the U.S. Forest Service and Cal Fire have contained 78-percent of the fire. The Pozo fire has burned more than 1,200 acres. Fire officials say full containment is expected as early as Tuesday.

The cause of this fire is under investigation.

A second fire is still burning in San Diego County this Monday near the community of Lakeside and the Cleveland National Forest.

The fire has burned about 1,000 acres. Fire officials say right now this fire is 75-percent contained. Firefighters say they should have it completely contained sometime later today.
