Safe Halloween events around the Valley

FRESNO, Calif.

For many families Halloween is a fun time of year, but parents are also concerned about their kids as they go door to door trick or treating. But there are some safe options across the Valley where you can do some one stop trick or treating like the New Covenant Church in Northeast Fresno.

The New Covenant Community Church on Maple and Nees in Northeast Fresno is holding their annual "Trunk or Treat" event. Kids go Trick or Treating from the open trunks of cars filled with candy.

The Trunk or Treat event takes place tonight, October 31st from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. The public is invited. There will be candy, pumpkin patch, carnival and more.
