PIKEVILLE, Ky. -- A Kentucky college is creating a new opportunity for video game lovers hoping to make a career of their passion.

Now, they can be student athletes.

A graduate has stepped up to be a coach for those who play "League of Legends," an online battle arena game.

Formal competition play will start during fall semester.
