Fresno City Council President Luis Chavez saves cat stuck in tree

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A cat is back on solid ground thanks to Fresno City Council President Luis Chavez.

The cat Chavez calls George was stuck in the tree overnight in the area of Huntington and Cedar in southeast Fresno.

When he noticed it Sunday morning, he climbed up and after some failed attempts, and some cuts from George he was able to get him down successfully.
