Man arrested after high-speed chase through Fresno County

FRESNO COUNTY (KFSN) -- A man is in jail after leading Highway Patrol officers on a chase through Fresno County. It started in the area of Highway 180 and Highway 41.

Officers tried making a traffic stop, which soon led to a high-speed chase. The pursuit ended outside city limits in Fresno County when the driver overturned his car at central and east.

The car landed on its roof. The driver was checked for injuries and is okay.

It is not known why the driver refused to stop for officers.
