Barnes & Noble's new Clovis location gets opening date

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Clovis Barnes and Noble is set to open its doors.

The bookstore is located on Herndon Avenue in Clovis Crossing. It's taken over the former Joann Fabrics space.

The location will have a grand-opening celebration on April 29.

It includes a ribbon-cutting ceremony and book signing with local author Monica Murphy.

Barnes & Noble plans to open over 60 new bookstores in the US this year.
