
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- CAL FIRE is responding to a vegetation fire that erupted in agricultural fields around 2 p.m. on Tuesday near North and Temperance avenues.

Fresno County Sheriff's deputies evacuated people from their homes.
CAL FIRE says there is no longer a threat to any structures in the area.
The North Fire is 57 acres with 0% containment.
Crews say that wind is a challenge as they try to contain the fire.
Temperance Avenue, between North and Central avenues, is closed.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
