FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- President Trump's daughter Ivanka is getting ready to make a couple of stops in California on Monday-- including one in Fresno County.
Ivanka Trump will be making her way to the Central Valley, for a fundraising event but she's not traveling alone. She's joining Republican House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy.
The fundraiser is taking place at an undisclosed location and much of the details surrounding the visit are still under wraps. What we do know is that all proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards "Protect the House"-- House Majority Leader McCarthy's joint fundraising committee with Vice President Mike Pence.
Guillermo Moreno of the Fresno County Republican Party said, "It specifically helps the party protect and make sure they have enough money in seats that may be competitive. I don't think any of the seats that are in the Central Valley, or the Republicans that are running, are in danger of losing their seat."
The Central Valley isn't the only stop they will be making in California-- they will be attending another fundraiser in Los Angeles.
Monday's Valley visit will be faced with some pushback. There is a planned Democratic rally at 4:00 p.m. at the federal courthouse in Downtown Fresno, which is part of a weekly demonstration. Organizers said the rally will focus on Ivanka's lack of action when it comes to immigration.
