Man shot and killed in Atwater, police say

ATWATER, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Atwater Police Department is looking for the suspect or suspects who killed a man late Monday night, marking the second homicide in the city this year.

Detectives say they responded to reports of gunshots near Determine Drive & Bellevue Road around 10:37 p.m.

When police arrived, they found the man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was declared dead at the scene.

Police have not identified the victim.

Detectives do not have any information on a possible suspect and cannot say if this incident is gang-related at this time.
