The families of two men discovered through DNA tests that they were switched at birth 38 years ago.
"They're amazing...I walked in and it was like meeting versions of myself," Jennifer Slayton said.
"With FamilyTreeDNA's database, law enforcement is capable of uploading genetic files and searching for DNA 'relatives,' to assist them," the company said in a statement.
For nearly 20 years, the identity of the young murder victim remained a mystery, despite dogged efforts by the Orange County Sheriff's Office to solve the crime.
