The National Hurricane Center has unveiled a few changes to some of its forecast products that will begin in the 2026 hurricane season.

A Tropical Storm Warning has been issued for Southern California, according to the National Weather Service.
The current track has Hilary, which has strengthened into a Category 4 storm, moving into California on Monday as either a tropical storm or a weaker tropical depression.
The likelihood of greater activity has risen due to record-warm sea surface temperatures.
It's still early, but it's also a reminder to stay prepared. NOAA's official outlook will come out in mid-May.
