A young boy was arrested over the weekend after Reedley police say he operated an e-bike recklessly and fled from officers.
Four of the boys were tired, cold and "basically gave up," police said. They decided to knock on the door of a home selected at random.
Thirty of 65 people arrested at the "unpermitted" event are juveniles, police said.
The teen was sentenced to a short-term program of up to six months in juvenile hall, counseling, and 100 hours of volunteer work.
"Our families have been devastated twice," the father of one of the fallen Porterville firefighters said after a judge dismissed murder charges against both the teens.
Two boys and an 18-year-old woman drove around northeast Fresno, robbing people at gunpoint on Sunday, police say.
