Ducks move to buy out remainder of injured Simon Despres' contract
The Ducks placed injured Simon Despres on waivers Friday, and general manager Bob Murray indicated the club will buy out the remainder of his five-year contract. The defenseman has missed playing time with concussion issues the past two seasons.
