Tropical Storm Arthur has formed in the Gulf near the middle Texas coast, according to the National Weather Service.
Milton rapidly intensified into a hurricane on Sunday and is now a Category 1.
Tropical Storm Milton formed in the western Gulf on Saturday morning just hours after it became a tropical depression, the National Hurricane Center said in a special alert.
A new storm, Milton, is forecast to strengthen into a hurricane before making landfall in Florida this week.

Kirk became a hurricane in the eastern Atlantic Ocean on Tuesday. The storm could strengthen into a major hurricane by Thursday, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said.
