Mail thieves stole a couple's property tax payment from the mail, wrote in their own name and cashed the $28,000 check. Wells Fargo says it's too late to get a refund.
In notices to customers about the closure, the bank warned that the change could impact their credit scores.
The bank said employees applied for funds meant for struggling small businesses, according to the report.
"Was it worth it? Yeah, it was worth it," he said. "A Hot Pocket? Hell, yeah."
