Bulls' prized rookie Wendell Carter Jr. out 8-12 weeks after thumb surgery

Rookie Wendell Carter Jr., a rare bright spot for the Bulls this season, will be out 8-12 weeks after having surgery to repair a ligament in his thumb. The prized rookie will be replaced by Bobby Portis and Robin Lopez for now.
