Walls blown out after home honey oil lab explodes in Madera

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Madera County Narcotics Enforcement Team are investigating after an explosion sent one suspect to the hospital with burns to his arms and face.

Officers and firefighters responded to a home on Vineyard Avenue where they found evidence of a honey oil lab explosion.

Officials say the house was significantly damaged; both the kitchen and bathroom walls were blown out nearly a foot from the foundation.

An investigation is underway.
