NEW YORK, NY -- I can feel when winter's coming, and I don't mean the chill in the air. My skin dries out, my lips get chapped and itchy, and my face becomes covered in flaky, dry, red patches.
I can't completely hate on those little red marks though, because they serve as a reminder of why I started Glam Lab in the first place. Back then, I challenged myself to seven days of skipping alcohol, drinking lots of water and testing out a range of hydrating skincare products to try and remedy my skin issue. I decided to film the process and edit it together. Lo and behold, I wasn't the only one trying to remedy winter skin woes.

Four years later, I still suffer from extremely dry skin and while not as evident, there's still a trace of those pesky little face patches. Now, with a plethora of products to test, I'm always on the lookout for the most soothing, hydrating and moisturizing way to help my skin (and hopefully yours too), survive the cold months.
