4.1 earthquake strikes near Mammoth Lakes

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The USGS says a 4.1 earthquake struck about 20 miles southeast of Mammoth Lakes, California along the border of California and Nevada.

The area at the center of the earthquake is near the remote town of Toms Place along Highway 395. USGS maps of the area show the earthquake struck in a cluster of faults between Bishop and Mammoth Lakes.

There are no reports of any damage or injuries.
