Central Fresno fire destroys abandoned office, Investigation underway

FRESNO, Calif, (KFSN) -- Fire crews are investigating what caused fighting a blaze in Central Fresno that destroyed an abandoned office complex.

Firefighters responded to a call for a fire on Calaveras Street and Olive Avenue just before 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

The structure had been boarded up, and it is reported to have caught fire twice earlier this year.

It is unclear if anyone was inside the building when the fire started or if there have been any injuries.

Firefighters are urging residents to report any suspicious activity near vacant structures.
