$10,000 reward offered in East Central Fresno community mailbox theft

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The post office may be contacting you after a community mailbox was stolen in East Central Fresno.

The mailbox near Jason and Redlands avenues was stolen, and postal officials tell Action News they are not sure exactly what day it was taken. A $10,000 reward is being offered to help track down those responsible.

It is a federal offense punishable by up to five years in prison and up to a $250,000 fine.
