Deputies recover $2,500 bike in Craigslist sting operation
A group of men tried to sell a stolen bike on Craigslist. They were arrested on the spot when the Sheriff's department responded to the ad.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A sting operation in Fresno ends with a woman's $2,500 bike returned after being stolen three months ago.

Thieves took the bicycle back in September at the woman's home in northwest Fresno. She says she kept an eye out for the bike on Craigslist after it went missing.

She eventually came across it on the website on New Year's day.

She called Sheriff's Deputies and that's when they set up a sting operation to get her bike back.

"They must've looked it up how valuable it was," bike owner Moria Rogers said. "And they were trying to sell it for the $500 they weren't willing to give."

Officers determined it was, in fact, Rogers's bike. They arrested Kim Martin, Ryan Gault, Rowdy Blevins and Chad Clark.

All of them showed up to deliver the bike.
