Man arrested for trying to steal tractor from construction site

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is in jail for trying to steal a tractor right off a construction site in West Central Fresno.

Police said 34-year-old John Acevedo was taken into custody Sunday night and is now facing several felony charges. That's after workers spotted him driving this tractor away from their construction site at McKinley and Highway 99.

Workers called police while chasing after Acevedo and he was caught by officers minutes later.
