FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- One person is recovering from a suspected drunk driving crash involving three cars.

The crash happened Saturday morning at Cedar and Dakota.

Police said a driver was speeding when he ran into a stopped car. That car was then pushed into on-coming traffic.

Investigators are cautioning drivers to stay vigilant this holiday weekend.

"Take some time. Slow down. If that light's green, pause for a second, look both ways, and make sure someone isn't coming through against the red and it might protect you," said Sgt. Mike Clark, Fresno Police Department.

You can expect to see a heavy presence of police out on the streets of Fresno and Madera County Saturday night.

The DUI task force will be out all weekend.

Police said they'll have checkpoints all over the city. There will also be extra officers patrolling freeways and country roads.
