Gunman sought in Visalia shooting that injured 1

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities are looking for the gunman who shot a person in Visalia early Saturday morning.

Visalia police responded to the area of Stewart and Golden avenues around 3:30 a.m. regarding a shots fired call. When they arrived, officers found a male shooting victim with non-life threatening injuries. The victim was transported to an area hospital and later released.

Police say the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. A description of the shooter has not been made available.
