FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Police announced an arrest Thursday night in the home invasion robbery of a World War 2 veteran.

Officers arrested 20-year-old Danny Miller of Fresno for the crime.

As Action News reported earlier this week, 89-year-old Bob Christiansen said a young man and woman knocked on his door claiming he knew them. Once in the home the suspect went to the bathroom, but was actually in a bedroom stealing valuables.

Christiansen struggled with the suspect but they got away.

The victim suffered a slashed wrist.

Officers are still searching for the female suspect.
