Plane carrying fallen soldier's body arrives in Visalia
The plane carrying the body of Visalia Army Pfc. Keith Williams has arrived at the Visalia airport.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The plane carrying the body of Visalia Army Pfc. Keith Williams has arrived at the Visalia airport.

A large gathering of family members and friends, plus more than 200 members of the public are here to greet him. The 19-year-old was killed back on July 24th in Afghanistan when the vehicle he was in ran over an improvised explosive device.

Williams' father tells Action News after the casket leaves the plane it will be brought to his family where a member of the Mono Tribe will sing a "warrior song" to honor him. Williams is part-Native American.

After he leaves the Visalia airport a procession will take place passing by El Diamante High School and then ending at the Salser and Dillard Funeral Home on Caldwell Avenue and Court Street.

We'll continue to cover Keith Williams' arrival on later editions of Action News.
