911 call reveals scary moments as 12-year-old hid from intruders in his Arizona home
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- A newly released 911 call is revealing the brave actions taken by a 12-year-old boy as two men began breaking into his Scottsdale, Arizona home.
"Yes, two strange men I don't know are on my back porch and I think they're trying to open the door," the boy tells the operator in the 911 call obtained by ABC affiliate KNXV-TV.
The boy tells the operator he can hear the men trying to break down the door while giving a detailed description of his house. He then tells the dispatcher he's going to hide.

The boy continues talking to the 911 operator, telling her where the two men are in the house and what type of car they drove. He also describes his exact location inside the house so police can know where to find him.
But then the call takes a frightening turn -- the two men find the boy hiding in the closet.

By this point, police were already en route to the boy's house. Officers arrived and surrounded the house just as both men bolted outside.
The two men took off on foot and tried to hide in a backyard down the street, but police captured both of them. They were later identified as Robbie Jay Johnson Jr., 36, and Cole Austin Lewallen, 31. Both men have priors, and both now face multiple felony charges.
The young boy was not injured.
