Garbage truck goes up in flames in northeast Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Neighbors were stunned to see a garbage truck go up in flames near Willow and Perrin in northeast Fresno.

The driver managed to get out safely.

Witnesses say they heard several explosions, which shook nearby homes.

A hazmat team was called to the area to clean up spilled oil.

There is no word yet on how the truck caught on fire.
