YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK (KFSN) -- A dog rescued in Yosemite National Park is serving as a warning to others.

A 70 pound Bull Terrier named Bella fell 80 feet from the John Muir Trail. Her owner had just removed her leash when she disappeared down the ledge.

Park Rangers were able to rescue Bella using a large equipment bag used by climbers.

They are reminding park visitors to keep pets in the designated areas to prevent emergencies like this one.
