Kansas City Chiefs running back Charcandrick West, who had not practiced all week because of a hamstring injury, is inactive and will not play Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, it was announced.

The Chiefs had left open the possibility that West would be able to play Sunday and had listed him as questionable on their final injury report of the week.

Tight end Travis Kelce, who was listed as questionable with groin and ankle injuries, is active and is expected to play against the Bills.

Spencer Ware, who was promoted from the practice squad after Jamaal Charles' season-ending injury, will start against the Bills.

Ware replaced West in last Sunday's game in San Diego and led the Chiefs with 96 rushing yards and two touchdowns. He also scored a touchdown in a previous game against the Detroit Lions.

Kansas City has won four straight, outscoring its opponents by 22.75 points per contest.
