Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott, considered by many to be a Heisman Trophy hopeful, had a walking boot on his left foot after the top-ranked Bulldogs' 45-31 victory over Kentucky last Saturday, something he called precautionary.

"It's nothing really ... I'm wearing the walking boot for fashion," he said Tuesday on "SportsCenter." "Nothing there, nothing to see, nothing to worry about. I'll be ready to play. Like I said, it's nothing serious. So I'll be ready to go, ready to lead my team out there Saturday."

Asked if he tweaked an ankle or foot, Prescott said, "I don't know. I guess we'll find out."

Prescott accounted for three touchdowns against Kentucky, chipping in 216 yards passing and 88 yards rushing on 18 carries. But he had to work to complete 18 of 33 passes as Kentucky sacked him three times and intercepted him once.

Mississippi State (7-0, 4-0 SEC) hosts Arkansas (4-4, 0-4) on Saturday.
