Today's decision will allow a family member to decide Rivera's medical care. The county became the woman's guardian because her husband also suffered serious medical issues.
Based on doctor's advice, the county removed Rivera's feeding tube earlier this month. When her family objected a judge ruled she must be put back on life support.
