Nearly 60 workers in the South Valley may have to re-locate, after a low-cost grocery store shuts its doors.Foods-Co on Mooney Boulevard near Caldwell in Visalia will be closing on April 5th. The store employs 56 people.

Foods-Co officials said they've offered all of their workers jobs at other Foods-Co stores in Fresno, Hanford and Tulare. "They got really fresh food it's good reasonable price and if I needed a job I would actually apply at this store because I like the atmosphere," said customer Carolyn Nicely.

"I think it's maybe access and I think it's maybe not updating that store and increasing the size of that parking lot and your accessibility," said Stan Bennett with Visalia Economic Development Corp.

Sportsman's Warehouse announced just days ago it will also be shutting down their Visalia store. That store has 70 employees.
